International Business Lawyer | Digital Law & AI Governance Expert
Liliana Bakayoko is internationally recognized for her ability to combine deep legal expertise with strategic business insight. She has successfully guided clients through complex transactions, commercial disputes, regulatory challenges, and transformative legal environments, while fostering innovation at every step.
As the founder of Liliana Bakayoko Law Firm, she provides tailored legal counsel with a strong focus on international business law and digital law. Her approach goes far beyond risk mitigation—she helps clients align legal strategy with long-term business goals and innovation-driven growth.
At the heart of her philosophy is her pioneering concept: the Positive Perception of the Law. This unique approach encourages organizations to view legal frameworks not as obstacles, but as tools for creativity, strategic development, and competitive differentiation. By strategically leveraging the law, her clients accelerate innovation, seize competitive advantages, and turn regulatory complexity into business opportunity.
This forward-thinking mindset is particularly impactful for those expanding into new sectors, forging strategic partnerships, or adapting to the fast-evolving landscape of digital technologies and artificial intelligence.
Beyond traditional business law, Liliana is a leading voice in digital law and AI governance, actively contributing to the development of legal frameworks for emerging technologies. Her work includes the legal personhood of autonomous AI systems, the protection of trade secrets in the digital age, and the creation of ethical legal standards to address complex technological advancements.
She is also a passionate advocate for neurorights, working to ensure that cognitive freedoms and mental privacy are safeguarded as brain-computer interface technologies continue to develop. Her visionary perspective enables her clients to embrace innovation while remaining ethically and legally secure.
As part of this commitment, Liliana has introduced the innovative legal concept of Neurocognitive Trade Secrets—a forward-looking framework designed to protect brain-derived insights that hold commercial value, even before they are expressed. In this context, she promotes two key legal evolutions:
🔹 The Recognition of Thought as an Intellectual Asset
🔹 The Integration of Neurorights into Trade Secret Law
By anticipating the legal challenges of tomorrow, she helps businesses secure their most intangible yet valuable resource: the mind itself.
In addition to her legal practice, Liliana Bakayoko serves as a consultant in international investment, government relations, and business development for a U.S.-based multinational specializing in technology-focused strategic consulting.
Her involvement in global professional networks also allows her to offer seamless cross-border support in collaboration with experts across jurisdictions.
